Ben Schladenhauffen, Broker Owner and CEO of Ben Slade Realty I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. After pursuing the normal High School and College degrees, I chased my first career dream and joined the Air Force to fly F-15’s. I loved every minute of it, but after 9 years I was ready to make a change. My real estate career started in 1992. I always had an interest in investing in real estate. After reading every book I could get my hands on, I took the first big step and bought a house on the court house steps. I spent 2 months rehabbing the house and learning how to be an electrician, carpenter, plumber and salesman. The house turned out well and I made few dollars. I was hooked. I have continued investing in real estate over the years purchasing and selling too many houses to count. With the recent fall in the housing market I set out to be the leading expert in pre-foreclosures. This has worked out to be a perfect fit for me. I’m still investing in real estate but now I’m in a position to help others avoid foreclosure and save their credit. If someone just needs a briefing on their pre-foreclosure options or help with working out a solution with the bank, I will never charge for that. I enjoy helping people. If I end up working with a client and purchasing their property, that’s great. If I can help to get someone back on track with their finances that’s rewarding enough for me. Most clients I have helped end up coming back and work with me on short selling their home. I’m always just a phone call away and ready to help. We have never had a dissatisfied customer! If I ever have a client that doesn’t want to work with me anymore I’d be happy to release them from any contractual obligation. I now own and operate Emerald Coast Home Options, LLC.
